Meet the Team

Dave Erickson, one of the Owners of PNP, grew up in Hansville, Washington. Dave started commercial fishing on a purse seine boat in Washington when he was 14 and worked in South East Alaska on salmon seine boats each summer through high school. His skills led him to be hired by a netting company. Starting on the shop floor learning the net building trade, he moved into sales, eventually domestic sales manager, selling advanced, highly engineered nets to customers around the world, from South Africa to Russia and the American Bering Sea trawl fleet where he graduated from ‘the University of Bering Sea’. After 18 years Dave and Glenn Kramer, opened Pacific Netting Products. Dave’s commercial fishing background, and understanding that failure on the high seas can cause devastating financial or human loss, is reflected in everything he designs and builds today; from guide nets in front of nuclear power stations to man fall safety protection systems. Dave lives near Kingston, Washington, with his wife and son, and is an active sports fisherman, and hunter.

Andy Peters is the Director of Markets and Applications for PNP. His first job was as a research fisherman on the NOAA ship Miller Freemen and since then he has pursued a career in maritime operations and international business development. He studied Commercial Fisheries and Marine Technology at the University of Rhode Island, holds a 1600 Ton Masters Ocean license and is currently enrolled at Western Governors University in a Masters of Business Program. Prior to joining Pacific Netting Products he was the Director of Operations at the Boat Company and Captain of the Liseron, a luxury pocket cruise ship that operated in South East Alaska. He has travelled and sailed extensively throughout the world, and often speaks or presents at industry conferences on the subject of technical developments in materials used for fish passage or exclusion. Andy lives on Bainbridge Island with his wife, a fisheries biologist who currently works to protect and recover local salmon populations.

Stephen McKim has been involved with sales and purchasing at Pacific Netting Products since 2006.  Stephen immigrated from Shinyanga, Tanzania with his parents in the 1962 and grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington.  At 18 years old Stephen went to Dutch Harbor, Alaska and worked for the next 10 years as a deckhand, pot fishing for crab and long line fishing for Alaska Halibut and Black Cod.  His skills and experience led him into a position where for 17 years he was the purchasing and sales agent for a Seattle based net building company. His interest include traveling, teaching mountaineering and spending time with his wife and 2 step-daughters.

Richard Pasma grew up on Bainbridge Island, spending summers riding with his Dad delivering fishing nets and gear around the Puget Sound. He graduated from Bainbridge High School and went on to get his Mechanical Engineering degree from Washington State University. He gained his at sea experience when he spent 3 seasons aboard the M/V Golden Alaska based out of Dutch Harbor in the engine room. He has worked as a steel fabricator, and spent 3 years designing and engineering open ocean aquaculture systems. When not at work Richard enjoys working on cars, fixing up houses, being out on the Puget Sound, hunting, skiing, and exploring the great northwest.

Donna Kramer,  PNP shareholder and General Office Manager,  has been here from our inception in 1997 as the head of  Human Resources and Accounting. Donna has most enjoyed supporting PNP employees as we create a thriving company through their dedication, hard work, and passionate belief in the diverse line of netting products we produce.

Ralph Ford, the technical sales manager for PNP brings nearly forty years of knowledge and experience in the high density polyethylene piping and flotation industry. Over this time he has pioneered many new and innovative products and fabrication techniques and developed applications for this unique material in industries ranging from fisheries to flood control. Ralph credits his father, who he worked with during his youth at a filling station, for introducing him to mechanical concepts, tools, his open minded thinking and problem solving abilities.

After helping grow his previous employer from a small company to one lucrative enough to be acquired by one of the world’s largest commercial plumbing companies, Ralph has brought his talents to PNP where he is focused on environmentally friendly fish enhancement projects, dam safety and debris control solutions, port security, moorage and marina applications.

He and his high school sweetheart live on the banks of the Washougal River on a small 10 acre homestead where they enjoy hiking, sea kayaking, fishing, hunting, playing guitar, raising a few dogs, chickens and vegetables, and especially their children and grandchildren.
