Tacoma Power

Full Exclusion, Full Depth Fish Guidance Barrier Nets for Floating Surface Collector

As part of FERC Relicensing requirements Tacoma Power installed a floating surface collector at their Cushman Number One Dam. As a result of our success at Baker Lake and elsewhere, PNP was brought in early in the process. Pacific Netting Products designed the barrier net to guide juvenile migrating downstream fish to a floating surface collector. Once collected, fish will be transported and released into the North Fork Skokomish River at the base of Cushman No.2 Dam. We worked with owners, engineers and contractors to provide a system that was delivered on time and on budget.
